Nicholls State University is hosting the 11th annual Jubilee, a festival of the arts and humanities. The festival will be going on March 12 – April 23 2009 and will include art exhibits, Cajun culture, international performances, lectures and literature, music, research and theatre.

The Nicholls Players Present: Arsenic and Old Lace by Joseph Kesselring, directed by Dr. Stanley Coleman, Nicholls assistant professor of speech and theater.

Thursday, March 19th – Sunday, March 22 in Talbot TheaterĀ at Nicholls State University. 7:30PM Thursday – Saturday; 3:00PM Sunday. Admission is $10 for the general public and $5 for students of all ages.

This play is a clever combination of the farcical and the macabre, centers on two elderly sisters who are famous in their Brooklyn neighborhood for their numerous acts of charity.
